The goal of each program is to teach the fundamentals and concepts of the game and to develop the necessary skills to play the game. The program also focuses on teaching team building, leadership, and dedication.
The LG Youth Commission will provide all necessary equipment to participants; except for a mouth guard, water bottle, and cleats. Each participant is responsible for acquiring those prior to the first practice.
Practices/games are held at the Lake George Recreation Field (99 Transfer Station Rd., Lake George, NY). The timing and duration of each practice, for each program, will be sent out prior to the first practice to allow coaches to resolve any scheduling conflicts. Games are typically played on Saturday mornings and that schedule will be sent out prior to the first game.
Tackle/Flag
*Practice will start July 28th Flag 5:00pm - 6:00PM/Tackle 5:30PM - 7:30PM
*Possible clinic w/HS in July
*Combine Flag 8/16
*Combine Tackle 8/23 (1st weigh in)

All coaches & asst. must be AED certified. Free certification through LGYC
Tackle 3rd-6th
*Need copies of birth certificate and final report card for registration
*3/4 max weight 120 lbs
*5/6 max weight is 143 lbs (there will be multiple weigh-ins)
*Team will be able to run the Lake George High School's offense & defense plays
