PEP (Primary Enrichment Program) |
What: PEP is a 6 week day camp for peppers (campers) entering kindergarten and 1st grade in the fall of 2026.
Where: Caldwell Nursery School 71 Montcalm Street Lake George
When: Mondays - Fridays June 29 - August 7th 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
What:
Mondays - Fridays can consists of crafts, games, small field trips or special visitors.
Tuesdays & Thursdays walk to Shepard Park to play in the shallow end and on the beach.
Department of Health requires camp to have lifeguards if PEP goes to the beach.
If YC doesn't have lifeguards Tuesdays & Thursdays will consists of special visitors, field trips, crafts or games.

Field Trips
- Registration for field trips closes 6/14.
- On field trip days no other alternative activities are offered.
- Some trips may require additional fees.
- No toys, stuffed animals, electronics etc.
- Please no sandals or flip flops
What to send:
- water bottle
- sturdy shoes no flip flops
- swim days towel, bathing suit
- label everything
- $ for ice cream
Cooley's Ice Cream truck will be back every Wednesday!
SUNSCREEN & BUG SPRAY PERMISSION
New York State Public Health Law now requires written parental permission for a child to carry and use sunscreen & bug spray at camp. The legislation further requires the camp to maintain a record of the parental permission and allows camp staff to assist with the application of sunscreen/bug spray when the child is unable to do so, provided the child requests the assistance and that this assistance is permitted/authorized by the parent.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
By law, campers may not be at camp without the following:
• Current Physical Examination & Immunization History
• Health History & Insurance Information (online form)
• Medication Administration & Over-the-Counter Medication Form (*must be signed by both parent and health care provider*)
All required medical information must be sent to the Health Director. Included should be your child's most recent physical, up to date immunization record, any medical notes (i.e. if your child has a medical condition), and any orders for medication distribution (only if your child needs to be distributed medication while at camp, must include medication, child's name, doctor's name, dosage, and time to be administered. If your child requires an EpiPen, Inhaler, or any other "as needed" medication please make sure it is indicated on the documentation.
