The Lake George Youth Commission T-ball program is a developmental program designed to teach basic skills and rules of the game in a fun, healthy environment.All of our teams are co-ed.Our current levels of play include Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten.The LGYC T-ball program is a Lake George town program.It is not associated with Lake George Elementary School.REGISTRATION: For all students in Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten. The Lake George Youth Commission baseball program is a developmental program designed to teach basic skills and rules of the game in a fun, healthy environment. Although we play teams from other towns, our baseball program is a recreational program. Players will be assigned to teams at their individual grade levels. Our current levels of play include: Majors (grades 5 and 6), Minors (grades 3 and 4) and Pee Wee (grades 1 and 2).The LGYC baseball program is a Lake George town program.It is not associated with Lake George Elementary School.REGISTRATION: For all students in grades 1st through 6th grades. Registration is $65pp. Registration fees support the baseball program including, but not limited to, purchasing tee shirts, hats and equipment, paying for umpires and field maintenance. No toys, stuffed animals, electronics etc. Please no sandals or flip flops What to send: water bottle sturdy shoes  no flip flops swim days towel, bathing suit label everything  $ for ice cream Cooley's Ice Cream truck will be back every Wednesday!SUNSCREEN & BUG SPRAY PERMISSION  New York State Public Health Law now requires written parental permission for a child to carry and use sunscreen & bug spray at camp. The legislation further requires the camp to maintain a record of the parental permission and allows camp staff to assist with the application of sunscreen/bug spray when the child is unable to do so, provided the child requests the assistance and that this assistance is permitted/authorized by the parent.                                                                                                     REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION By law, campers may not be at camp without the  following:• Current Physical Examination & Immunization History• Health History & Insurance Information (online form)• Medication Administration & Over-the-Counter Medication Form (*must be signed by both parent and health care provider*)All required medical information must be sent to the Health Director. Included should be your child's most recent physical, up to date immunization record, any medical notes (i.e. if your child has a medical condition), and any orders for medication distribution (only if your child needs to be distributed medication while at camp, must include medication, child's name, doctor's name, dosage, and time to be administered. Your child must be registered with YC Summer Camp before signing up for field trips!Registering your child for any of the field trips/programs means you have read and understand all the information below and all information attached to each field trip/program!No Refunds for any program or trip!Please no electronic devices for camp or any of the trips! Registrations for Tubby Tubes & Wild Waters will open after swim tests are done.There are multiple trips each day (Monday-Thursday).  Some trips are in the afternoon.  Some trips are at the same time!Only sign your camper up for those you are sure he/she will attend.  There are no refunds.All day trips:*There are no drop offs or pick-ups at the location, all campers must be accounted before and after the trip.*Please check departure and returning times.New this year:Capital Cooks - campers will work with a chef.  There are 3 different dates, each date is a different food theme.  A Cocoa Adventure, Fans Favorites and Donuts & Bagels  This program is in Albany w/a limit of 24 campers.Tri-City Valley Cats Game: price includes, ticket, hot dog, chips and a bottle of water. No backpacks in the park but campers can bring one on the bus.  Please no electronic devices.Friday Trips: Friday, 7/10 - Boston Aquarium - 6:30am drop-off and 9:00pm pick-up.  An email will be sent out when the bus is in Albany.  We will be taking an Upstate Tour Bus.  The price includes commercial bus, admission ticket, 3-D movie & lunch.  Friday, 7/17 - Water Safari - 7:30am drop off and 6:00pm pick up.  Price includes admission, and buffet lunch.Friday, 7/24 - Wild Center - 7:30 drop off and late pick-up 5:00pm Price includes admission and private animal encounter!  Campers can go on the Wild Walk - walk above the treetops of the Adirondack Mountains; experience Forest Music; play in the Pine Woods Play Area and new this year Trolls are in the forest!  Friday, 7/31 - Tubby Tubes - 9:00am - 3:00pm  Campers will need to pass the swim test given by LGYC swim instructor.  Waivers need to be completed (check with counselors for waivers).  After lazy river ride campers will eat lunch at Benjamin C. Butler Park in Lake Luzerne and then stopping for ice cream at Bon's Ice Cream.  Campers will need to bring $ for ice cream.
