LGYC Mission Statement


The mission of the Lake George Youth Commission is to provide safe, enjoyable opportunities for our youth, in order to develop positive and lasting life skills such as integrity, teamwork, determination and respect for others.  It is our belief and our hope that these attributes will benefit the youth of today and help develop confident, contributing, productive members of tomorrow’s community. 
 
Our youth sports program is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of a sport in a fun, rewarding and safe environment, where all participants have the opportunity to play regardless of skill level.    Sportsmanship, respect and the value of all team members is of equal importance to developing skills necessary to succeed in the sport.
