LGYC Code of Conduct
The Lake George Youth Commission (LGYC) is committed to providing a safe and orderly recreational environment where all participants may receive and Lake George Town personnel may deliver quality recreational services without disruption or interference; where everyone is welcome, important, and valued; where participants experience acceptance and belonging; and where safe, enjoyable opportunities are provided for our participants, in order to develop positive and lasting life skills such as integrity, teamwork, determination and respect for others.
Responsible behavior by all participants, Lake George Town personnel, parents and other visitors is essential to achieving this goal. The LGYC has a set of expectations for conduct on town property and at town events which are expected of the participants, family members and visitors. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity.
